What is a Flush Mount Photo Album and what is the difference between this and a photo book?

This is not just another photo book like you get from on online supplier. Flush mount albums get their names because the entire page is a single photographic print that runs over to the edge or “Flush” with the boarders of each page. Flush mount albums sides are printed as one photo, and then mounted on thick cardboard whereas photo books are printed on double sided paper much like a business brochure. This provides not only a beautiful quality album, but also durability for years to come. The pages lay perfectly flat, so the full spread is completely seamless. Photo books are bound in such a way that the pages do not lay perfectly flat, thereby taking away from the overall photograph. Then they are beautifully bound in a true leather cover in a manual precise process to provide generations the joy of viewing this moment in time. While photo books use leatherette or low cost (leftover) leather, this type of binding will also impact the way the books lay and, more importantly, how long it will take for pages to fall out, if they do.
